One important topic we discussed was tracking Facebook ads. This can be challenging because Facebook no longer offers a tracking/conversion code.
By manually tagging your destination URL, you can track activity back through Google Analytics. Check out Google’s URL Builder tool to see how easy this is: URL Builder. Use the “campaign” field to identify your ads with a meaningful name so you can locate it easily later.
The absolutely ridiculous thing about it is that it doesn’t tell you where to find the info in GA once it has been tagged. Bleh. Here’s where you can find it in Google Analytics:
